Amy received her Bachelors Degree in Geography from Central Michigan University in 1997 and graduated cum laude from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2004. She is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6^th Circuit. She joined Gilbert, Smith & Borrello in 2010 and focuses on municipal law and municipal defense litigation. She also focuses on estate planning and has received the Certificate of Completion in the Probate and Estate Planning program from the Institute of Continuing Legal Education. Amy is a 2008 graduate of Leadership Saginaw County. She also teaches geography at Saginaw Valley State University.
